Art in the Community

Masterworks is committed to public art and art education, and over the years we have introduced art into the community in fun and lively ways. The brightly painted hogges and onions can still be seen throughout the island in numerous locations, and more recently, our Chairity Auction highlighted the talent that exists in our community and proved yet again, that art can be for everyone, and can make you smile!

The pots are at the Airport!

COMING SOON...

Arts for All

Three days of free workshops for all ages!

One particular workshop that we are very excited about is encorporating our Adopt- A - Stop program with Arts For All. Please come and join us to design, paint and enjoy a beautiful bus stop. We are Adopting 10 Bus Stops over the course of 2011, this is our first! All of these Bus Stops are going to be designed by you the people who sign up for the workshop! Please think about ideas that work with our theme for 2011. In honour of the UN's International year of YOUTH we would like to announce this years theme as : OUR CREATIVE COMMUNITY!

If you have a great idea, record it for us! Then, let us know about it!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

You can be sure that Masterworks is working on new ideas all the time to bring art into the community – watch this space!

Presentations of the Masterworks Collection are given by Tom Butterfield and include an overview of the Collection, the history of the museum and an introduction to some of the world class artists who visited and were inspired to paint Bermuda.
