ONE WORKSHOP PER CHILD

Arts for All is a biannual community event held during spring and Christmas holidays offering free art workshops to all ages. The workshops are facilitated by Masterworks staff, local artists, volunteers, and visiting art instructors Richard Tait and Caroline Barlow of Arts for All in London.  These are free community workshops for all ages. They are held twice a year during school breaks (April and December). About 275 people attend each event and the family day for the December Arts for All welcomes about 1,500 participants!

Youth sessions include Junior Arts Detectives and Super Sleuths that engage kids by touring the new museum and drawing activities.

"The new museum is full of unique treasures worth exploring further and it is exciting to share knowledge of Bermuda's history and culture through art with the community. Getting kids to investigate and discuss works of art can be a unique educational experience, they always have such original interpretations and are often fascinated that they can relate to the subjects and locations depicted." ~ Robyn DeSilva, Education Coordinator

All our education programmes are designed to provide a creative and productive outlet for children, teaching them at an early age to embrace the importance of art and its relationship to our culture and environment. We have a range of classes, camps and workshops for moms and tots through to teenagers, and even free workshops and family days.

Our new classroom is in use 7 days a week and we are always working on adding new and exciting offerings to our educational programmes.

Keep checking this website for news and upcoming events.
