ARTSMART
This is a teacher resource packet produced by Masterworks to serve as a teaching tool to help with the discovery and exploration of artwork in The Masterworks Bermudiana Collection.

Artsmart aims to:
•
introduce the viewer to featured works;
• foster art appreciation and art discussion;
• examine aspects of Bermuda’s unique beauty, history and culture;
• provide information to study and interpret featured artwork that may be used in the classroom or museum and adapted for different grade levels.

Each Artsmart package is a downloadable PDF document-booklet of sections structured around a topic for discovery and discussion. Each work of art is presented with artist information and discussion questions. Artsmart can be supplemented with desired hands-on activities.

Topics include St. George’s, Architecture, water, people, Hamilton and We Are Sailing.

For more information contact Masterworks at 236-2950 or edumworks@logic.bm

All our education programmes are designed to provide a creative and productive outlet for children, teaching them at an early age to embrace the importance of art and its relationship to our culture and environment. We have a range of classes, camps and workshops for moms and tots through to teenagers, and even free workshops and family days.

Our new classroom is in use 7 days a week and we are always working on adding new and exciting offerings to our educational programmes.

Keep checking this website for news and upcoming events.
